We believe that building resilience and agility extends to our communities as well as our clients. As a result, Resigility team members are given four paid days a year to volunteer in whatever why they choose.
Some of the organizations that our team members serve include Special Olympics, LifeLine Animal Project (Atlanta),Northeast Animal Shelter (Salem, Mass.), Boy Scouts (Vienna, Va.), and athletic programs at James Madison H.S. (Vienna, Va.).
Jeff Anderson has been involved in Boy Scouts as a Cub Master / Assistant Scout Master since 2010. He has spent many a weekend on multi-day trips hiking, backpacking, biking and canoeing with scouts of all ages.
Karen Marlo volunteers her time to run concessions at her son’s high school sporting events. Selling hot dogs and sodas doesn’t sound glamorous but it helps provide funds to the schools for much-needed safety equipment.
Deb Hammacher has volunteered at LifeLine Animal Project in Atlanta for several years. LifeLine, which manages two large open-intake county shelters and its own private shelter, is working to end the euthanasia of healthy pets by transporting dogs to the Northeast, where homes are waiting for them.
In December 2021, the Atlanta-based Resigility team worked together at the Atlanta Community Food Bank to box up meals for those in need. The Atlanta Community Food Bank works with more than 700 community distribution partners and provided more than 96 million meals last year.
